General Responsibilities:

  • Providing day to day account management and contract issue resolution support to customers in their region
  • Delivering quarterly and annual reviews including KPI performance reports within their regions
  • Managing and co-ordinating the resolution of technical service, product and application support issues at customer accounts within their regions
  • Identifying and delivering business development opportunities at customer accounts within their regions within the terms of their contacts

Key Account Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that Sysmex UK delivers a market leading MSC customer experience
  • Ensuring that Sysmex UK and all 3rd party partner suppliers deliver on their contractual obligations (including KPIs) under each contract
  • Delivering quarterly and annual reviews including KPI performance reports for the whole contract including those from partner suppliers
  • Monitoring and managing inventory levels from all suppliers
  • Assist with ISO 15189 accreditation / maintenance as appropriate and necessary within your Key Sysmex MSC
  • Overseeing and coordinating the delivery of technical service and support from both Sysmex and 3rd Party suppliers
  • Responsible for ensuring that the logistics service delivered by Sysmex and the 3rd party suppliers into your key account, meets and exceeds the performance standards required under the terms of the contract.
  • Hands-on involvement is stock management and control, potentially assisting with deliveries and managing directly stock rotation
  • Responsible for ensuring that adequate user training records are maintained for training delivered by all suppliers and for all equipment in order to comply with relevant laboratory standards (eg. CPA Accreditation / ISO 15189)

Essential requirements:

  • Previous large, Key Account Management or Sales experience in the In Vitro Diagnostic Industry
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in the diagnostic arena
  • Complex data analysis
  • Negotiation skills
  • Hold a UK Driving Licence
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • General Knowledge in MS Office products, Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Desirable requirements:

Formal Account Management Training
Life Science or Business University degree or equivalent
Experience of working in a NHS environment
